CRLS1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein cardiolipin synthase 1, which is encoded by the CRLS1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to catalyze the synthesis of cardiolipin (CL) (diphosphatidylglycerol) by specifically transferring a phosphatidyl group from CDP-diacylglycerol to phosphatidylglycerol (PG). The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 301 residues, a mass of 32.6 kDa, and is a member of the CDP-alcohol phosphatidyltransferase class-I protein family. It is known to be localized in the mitochondria and is reported to be highly expressed in tissues such as heart, skeletal muscle and liver. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include C20orf155 and CLS.
The detection range for different CRLS1 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 1.563 pg/mL and as high as 2000 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
