ACTA1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein actin alpha 1, skeletal muscle, which is encoded by the ACTA1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in the regulation of gene expression. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 377 residues, a mass of 42.1 kDa, and is a member of the Actin protein family. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasm. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally methylated, acetylated and cleaved. The ACTA1 gene has been associated with the disease, Nemaline myopathy. Other alias names for this target include ASMA, CFTD, CFTD1, CFTDM, CMYP2A, CMYP2B, CMYP2C, and ACTA.
Some ACTA1 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 62.5 pg/mL and as high as 500 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
