PDE10A ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein phosphodiesterase 10A, which is encoded by the PDE10A gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to play a role in in signal transduction by regulating the intracellular concentration of cyclic nucleotides. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 779 residues, a mass of 88.4 kDa, and is a member of the Cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase protein family. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasm and is notably expressed in the putamen and caudate nucleus regions of brain and testis, moderately expressed in the thyroid gland, pituitary gland, thalamus and cerebellum. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally phosphorylated. The PDE10A gene has been associated with the disease, Dyskinesia. Other alias names for this target include HSPDE10A, IOLOD, LINC00473, PDE10A19, cAMP and cAMP-inhibited cGMP 3',5'-cyclic phosphodiesterase 10A, and ADSD2.
The detection range for different PDE10A ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.31 ng/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
