SKA2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein spindle and kinetochore associated complex subunit 2, which is encoded by the SKA2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known component of the SKA1 complex, a microtubule-binding subcomplex of the outer kinetochore that is essential for proper chromosome segregation. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 121 residues, a mass of 14.2 kDa, and is a member of the SKA2 protein family. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasm. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include family with sequence similarity 33, member A, spindle and KT (kinetochore) associated 2, and spindle and kinetochore-associated protein 2.
The detection range for different SKA2 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 31.2 pg/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
