PROKR2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein prokineticin receptor 2, which is encoded by the PROKR2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known receptor for prokineticin 2. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 384 residues, a mass of 44 kDa, and is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and is reported to be expressed in the ileocecum, thyroid gland, pituitary gland, salivary gland, adrenal gland, testis, ovary and brain. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. The PROKR2 gene has been associated with the disease, Hypogonadotropic hypogonadism 3 with or without anosmia. Other alias names for this target include G-protein coupled receptor I5E, PK-R2, and G protein-coupled receptor 73-like 1.
There are PROKR2 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 125 pg/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
