PSPC1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein paraspeckle component 1, which is encoded by the PSPC1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to regulate, cooperatively with NONO and SFPQ, androgen receptor-mediated gene transcription activity in Sertoli cell line (By similarity). The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 523 residues, a mass of 58.7 kDa, and is a member of the PSPC protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is reported to be expressed in pancreas, kidney, skeletal muscle, liver, lung, placenta, brain and heart. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include PSP1 and paraspeckle protein 1.
The detection range for different PSPC1 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 31.2 pg/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
