MT-ND1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein mitochondrially encoded NADH dehydrogenase 1, which is encoded by the MT-ND1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known component of the cytochrome c oxidase, the last enzyme in the mitochondrial electron transport chain which drives oxidative phosphorylation. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 318 residues, a mass of 35.7 kDa, and is a member of the Cytochrome c oxidase subunit 3 protein family. It is known to be localized in the mitochondria. The MT-ND1 gene has been associated with the disease, Leber hereditary optic neuropathy. Other alias names for this target include MTND1 and NADH dehydrogenase subunit 1.
The detection range for different MT-ND1 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.15 ng/mL and as high as 50 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
