ITLN1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein intelectin 1, which is encoded by the ITLN1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a reported lectin that specifically recognizes microbial carbohydrate chains in a calcium-dependent manner. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 313 residues and a mass of 35 kDa. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and is secreted and is reported to be highly expressed in omental adipose tissue where it is found in stromal vascular cells but not in fat cells but is barely detectable in subcutaneous adipose tissue. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally N-glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include galactofuranose-binding lectin, intelectin 1 (galactofuranose binding), intestinal lactoferrin receptor, and endothelial lectin HL-1.
Some ITLN1 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.3125 pg/mL and as high as 1000 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
