ERLIN1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein ER lipid raft associated 1, which is encoded by the ERLIN1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known component of the ERLIN1/ERLIN2 complex which mediates the endoplasmic reticulum-associated degradation (ERAD) of inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate receptors (IP3Rs). The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 348 residues, a mass of 39.2 kDa, and is a member of the Band 7/mec-2 protein family. It is known to be localized in the ER and is found to be expressed in heart, placenta, liver, kidney, pancreas, prostate, testis, ovary and small intestine. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. The ERLIN1 gene has been associated with the disease, Spastic paraplegia. Other alias names for this target include KE04, KEO4, SPFH1, SPG62, Band_7 23-211 Keo4 (Interim) similar to C.elegans protein C42C1.9, and C10orf69.
Some ERLIN1 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
