HTR2A ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein 5-hydroxytryptamine receptor 2A, which is encoded by the HTR2A gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in pathways of aging and chemical synaptic transmission. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 471 residues, a mass of 52.6 kDa, and is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasmic vesicles and cell membrane and is notably expressed in the brain cortex. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include HTR2, 5-HT2 receptor, 5-hydroxytryptamine (serotonin) receptor 2A, G protein-coupled, serotonin 5-HT-2A receptor, and 5-HT2A.
Some HTR2A ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 10 ng/L and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
