DMTF1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein cyclin D binding myb like transcription factor 1, which is encoded by the DMTF1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a transcriptional activator, which activates the CDKN2A/ARF locus in response to Ras-Raf signaling, thereby promoting p53/TP53-dependent growth arrest (By similarity). The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 760 residues, a mass of 84.5 kDa, and is a member of the DMTF1 protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and is noted to be expressed at relatively low levels in colonic mucosa, ovary, peripheral leukocytes, prostate and small intestine, and at higher levels in spleen, testis and thymus. As many as 5 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally phosphorylated. Other alias names for this target include DMTF, MRUL, hDMP1, cyclin D-binding Myb-like protein, cyclin-D-interacting Myb-like protein 1, hDMTF1, and DMP1.
