BSG ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein basigin (Ok blood group), which is encoded by the BSG gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be important for normal retinal maturation and development (By similarity). The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 385 residues and a mass of 42.2 kDa. It is reported to have [isoform 1]: retina-specific expression. As many as 4 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally N-glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include CD147, EMMPRIN, EMPRIN, HAb18G, OK, TCSF, basigin, and 5F7.
There are BSG ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.625 pg/mL and as high as 200 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
