CANT1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein calcium activated nucleotidase 1, which is encoded by the CANT1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in NF-kappaB signaling pathways. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 401 residues, a mass of 44.8 kDa, and is a member of the Apyrase protein family. It is known to be localized in the ER, golgi, and cell membrane and is widely expressed across many tissue types. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally N-glycosylated. The CANT1 gene has been associated with the disease, Desbuquois dysplasia. Other alias names for this target include Ca2+-dependent endoplasmic reticulum nucleoside diphosphatase, apyrase 1 homolog (C. lectularius), apyrase homolog, and soluble calcium-activated nucleotidase 1.
