UFM1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein ubiquitin fold modifier 1, which is encoded by the UFM1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a ubiquitin-like modifier, which can be covalently attached via an isopeptide bond to lysine residues of substrate proteins as a monomer or a lysine-linked polymer. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 85 residues, a mass of 9.1 kDa, and is a member of the UFM1 protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The UFM1 gene has been associated with the disease, Leukodystrophy. Other alias names for this target include C13orf20, HLD14, and BM-002.
Some UFM1 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
