SSNA1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein SS nuclear autoantigen 1, which is encoded by the SSNA1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a microtubule-binding protein, which stabilizes dynamic microtubules by slowing growth and shrinkage at both plus and minus ends and serves as a sensor of microtubule damage, protecting microtubules from the microtubule-severing enzyme SPAST. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 119 residues, a mass of 13.6 kDa, and is a member of the SSNA1 protein family. It is widely expressed across many tissue types. Other alias names for this target include NA-14, NA14, microtubule nucleation factor SSNA1, Sjogren syndrome nuclear autoantigen 1, Sjogren's syndrome nuclear autoantigen 1, and N14.
The detection range for different SSNA1 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
