C2CD5 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein C2 calcium dependent domain containing 5, which is encoded by the C2CD5 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be required for insulin-stimulated glucose transport and glucose transporter SLC2A4/GLUT4 translocation from intracellular glucose storage vesicle (GSV) to the plasma membrane (PM) in adipocytes. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 1000 residues and a mass of 110.4 kDa. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane, cytoplasmic vesicles, and cytoplasm. As many as 5 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally myristoylated and phosphorylated. Other alias names for this target include KIAA0528, C2 domain-containing protein 5, 138 kDa C2 domain-containing phosphoprotein, and CDP138.
There are C2cd5 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
