DHRS2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein dehydrogenase/reductase 2, which is encoded by the DHRS2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a NADPH-dependent oxidoreductase, which catalyzes the reduction of dicarbonyl compounds. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 280 residues, a mass of 29.9 kDa, and is a member of the Short-chain dehydrogenases/reductases (SDR) protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and mitochondria and is found to be widely expressed, with highest levels in liver and kidney, followed by heart, spleen, skeletal muscle and placenta. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include SDR25C1, dehydrogenase/reductase SDR family member 2, mitochondrial, dehydrogenase/reductase (SDR family) member 2, dehydrogenase/reductase member 2, and HEP27.
Some Dhrs2 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
