DHRS1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein dehydrogenase/reductase 1, which is encoded by the DHRS1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a NADPH-dependent oxidoreductase, which catalyzes the reduction of steroids (estrone, androstene-3,17-dione and cortisone) as well as prostaglandin E1, isatin and xenobiotics in vitro. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 313 residues, a mass of 33.9 kDa, and is a member of the Short-chain dehydrogenases/reductases (SDR) protein family. It is known to be localized in the ER and is notably expressed in fetal liver, adrenal glands, and at low levels in skeletal muscle, kidney, pancreas and brain. Other alias names for this target include dehydrogenase/reductase (SDR family) member 1, short chain dehydrogenase/reductase family 19C member 1, and dehydrogenase/reductase SDR family member 1.
Some DHRS1 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
