MCTS1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein MCTS1 re-initiation and release factor, which is encoded by the MCTS1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a reported anti-oncogene that plays a role in cell cycle regulation; decreases cell doubling time and anchorage-dependent growth; shortens the duration of G1 transit time and G1/S transition. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 181 residues, a mass of 20.6 kDa, and is a member of the MCTS1 protein family. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasm and is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally phosphorylated. Other alias names for this target include MCT1, malignant T-cell-amplified sequence 1, malignant T-cell amplified sequence 1, multiple copies T-cell malignancies, multiple copies in T-cell lymphoma-1, and MCT-1.
The detection range for different MCTS1 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 78 pg/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
