SYNE1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein spectrin repeat containing nuclear envelope protein 1, which is encoded by the SYNE1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in Golgi organization and muscle cell differentiation. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 8797 residues, a mass of 1011.1 kDa, and is a member of the Nesprin protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is reported to be expressed in HeLa, A431, A172 and HaCaT cells. As many as 12 protein isoforms have been reported. The SYNE1 gene has been associated with the disease, Spinocerebellar ataxia. Other alias names for this target include AMC3, AMCM, ARCA1, C6orf98, CPG2, EDMD4, KASH1, and 8B.
Some SYNE1 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 20 ng/L and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
