PCDH15 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein protocadherin related 15, which is encoded by the PCDH15 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in cell adhesion and ear development. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 1955 residues and a mass of 216.1 kDa. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and is reported to be expressed in the brain, lung, kidney, spleen and testis. As many as 5 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. The PCDH15 gene has been associated with the disease, Usher syndrome 1F. Other alias names for this target include protocadherin-15 and cadherin-related family member 15.
Some PCDH15 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 31.25 pg/mL and as high as 90 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
