ADAL ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein adenosine deaminase like, which is encoded by the ADAL gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to catalyze the hydrolysis of the free cytosolic methylated adenosine nucleotide N(6)-methyl-AMP (N6-mAMP) to produce inositol monophosphate (IMP) and methylamine. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 355 residues, a mass of 40.3 kDa, and is a member of the Adenosine and AMP deaminases protein family. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include N6-mAMP deaminase, N6-methyl-AMP aminohydrolase, and adenosine deaminase-like protein.
