ATP11B ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein ATPase phospholipid transporting 11B (putative), which is encoded by the ATP11B gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a catalytic component of a P4-ATPase flippase complex which catalyzes the hydrolysis of ATP coupled to the transport of aminophospholipids, phosphatidylserines (PS) and phosphatidylethanolamines (PE), from the outer to the inner leaflet of intracellular membranes. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 1177 residues, a mass of 134.2 kDa, and is a member of the Cation transport ATPase (P-type) (TC 3.A.3) protein family. It is known to be localized in the ER and golgi. Other alias names for this target include ATPIR, phospholipid-transporting ATPase IF, ATPase IR, ATPase, class VI, type 11B, P4-ATPase flippase complex alpha subunit ATP11B, and ATPIF.
