STEAP3 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein STEAP3 metalloreductase, which is encoded by the STEAP3 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be an endosomal ferrireductase required for efficient transferrin-dependent iron uptake in erythroid cells. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 488 residues, a mass of 54.6 kDa, and is a member of the STEAP protein family. It is known to be localized in the endosome and is reported to be expressed in adult bone marrow, placenta, liver, skeletal muscle and pancreas. As many as 4 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated and cleaved. The STEAP3 gene has been associated with the disease, Anemia. Other alias names for this target include STMP3, TSAP6, dudlin-2, dudulin-2, pHyde, and AHMIO2.
The detection range for different STEAP3 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
