TNFAIP8 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein TNF alpha induced protein 8, which is encoded by the TNFAIP8 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to act as a negative mediator of apoptosis and may play a role in tumor progression. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 198 residues, a mass of 23 kDa, and is a member of the TNFAIP8 protein family. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasm and is notably expressed at high levels in the spleen, lymph node, thymus, thyroid, bone marrow and placenta. As many as 4 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include MDC-3.13, NDED, SCC-S2, SCCS2, tumor necrosis factor alpha-induced protein 8, and GG2-1.
Some TNFAIP8 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 200 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
