GNA13 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein G protein subunit alpha 13, which is encoded by the GNA13 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in GPCR signaling pathways and cell differentiation. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 377 residues, a mass of 44.1 kDa, and is a member of the G-alpha protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane, nucleus, and cytoplasm and is reported to be expressed in testis, including in Leydig cells and in the seminiferous epithelium, in differentiating cells from the spermatogonia to mature spermatozoa stages and round spermatids. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally palmitoylated and phosphorylated.
