TBXAS1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein thromboxane A synthase 1, which is encoded by the TBXAS1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to catalyze the conversion of prostaglandin H2 (PGH2) to thromboxane A2 (TXA2), a potent inducer of blood vessel constriction and platelet aggregation. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 533 residues, a mass of 60.5 kDa, and is a member of the Cytochrome P450 protein family. It is known to be localized in the ER. As many as 4 protein isoforms have been reported. The TBXAS1 gene has been associated with the disease, Ghosal hematodiaphyseal dysplasia. Other alias names for this target include CYP5, CYP5A1, GHOSAL, THAS, TS, TXAS, TXS, and BDPLT14.
There are TBXAS1 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 78 pg/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
