The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 2168 residues, a mass of 240.5 kDa, and is a member of the WAL protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and is noted to be expressed at varying levels in several tissues, whereas a smaller transcript was expressed specifically in testis.
