MFAP3 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein microfibril associated protein 3, which is encoded by the MFAP3 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known component of the elastin-associated microfibrils. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 362 residues and a mass of 40.2 kDa. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include microfibril-associated glycoprotein 3 and microfibrillar associated protein 3.
Some MFAP3 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
