PLA2G3 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein phospholipase A2 group III, which is encoded by the PLA2G3 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in cilium assembly. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 509 residues, a mass of 57.2 kDa, and is a member of the Phospholipase A2 protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane, cytoplasm, and is secreted and is reported to be expressed in kidney, heart, liver, and skeletal muscle. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally O-glycosylated and N-glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include SPLA2III, sPLA2-III, group 3 secretory phospholipase A2, group III secreted phospholipase A2, phosphatidylcholine 2-acylhydrolase 3, and GIII-SPLA2.
Some PLA2G3 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 20 ng/L and as high as 50 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
