KLRB1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein killer cell lectin like receptor B1, which is encoded by the KLRB1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to play an inhibitory role on natural killer (NK) cells cytotoxicity. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 225 residues and a mass of 25.4 kDa. It is known to be localized in the membrane and is reported to be expressed in a subset of NK cells predominantly in intestinal epithelium and liver. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally N-glycosylated.
