STEAP2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein STEAP2 metalloreductase, which is encoded by the STEAP2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a reported metalloreductase that has the ability to reduce both Fe(3+) to Fe(2+) and Cu(2+) to Cu(1+). The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 490 residues, a mass of 56.1 kDa, and is a member of the STEAP protein family. It is known to be localized in the endosome and cell membrane and is notably expressed at high levels in prostate and at significantly lower levels in heart, brain, kidney, pancreas, and ovary. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include STEAP family member 2, metalloreductase, SixTransMembrane Protein of Prostate 1, prostate cancer-associated protein 1, protein up-regulated in metastatic prostate cancer, and metalloreductase STEAP2.
There are STEAP2 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 20 ng/L and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
