SCYL1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein SCY1 like pseudokinase 1, which is encoded by the SCYL1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to regulate COPI-mediated retrograde protein traffic at the interface between the Golgi apparatus and the endoplasmic reticulum. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 808 residues, a mass of 89.6 kDa, and is a member of the Protein kinase protein superfamily. It is known to be localized in the ER, golgi, and cytoplasm and is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. As many as 6 protein isoforms have been reported. The SCYL1 gene has been associated with the disease, Spinocerebellar ataxia. Other alias names for this target include SCY1-like protein 1, SCY1-like, kinase-like 1, coated vesicle-associated kinase of 90 kDa, likely ortholog of mouse N-terminal kinase-like protein, and N-terminal kinase-like protein.
Some SCYL1 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
