DEAF1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein DEAF1 transcription factor, which is encoded by the DEAF1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a transcription factor that binds to sequence with multiple copies of 5'-TTC[CG]G-3' present in its own promoter and that of the HNRPA2B1 gene. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 565 residues and a mass of 59.3 kDa. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is reported to be expressed in various tissues and cells such as in peripheral mononuclear cells and hormone-secreting pituitary cells. As many as 4 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally phosphorylated. The DEAF1 gene has been associated with the disease, Vulto-van Silfout-de Vries syndrome. Other alias names for this target include NEDHELS, NUDR, SPN, VSVS, ZMYND5, and MRD24.
There are DEAF1 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 78 pg/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
