EIF3A ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein eukaryotic translation initiation factor 3 subunit A, which is encoded by the EIF3A gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a RNA-binding component of the eukaryotic translation initiation factor 3 (eIF-3) complex, which is required for several steps in the initiation of protein synthesis. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 1382 residues, a mass of 166.6 kDa, and is a member of the EIF-3 subunit A protein family. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasm. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally phosphorylated. Other alias names for this target include EIF3S10, P167, TIF32, eIF3-p170, eIF3-theta, p180, p185, and EIF3.
Some EIF3A ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 2.5 pg/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
