SCYL2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein SCY1 like pseudokinase 2, which is encoded by the SCYL2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known component of the AP2-containing clathrin coat that may regulate clathrin-dependent trafficking at plasma membrane, TGN and endosomal system (Probable). The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 929 residues, a mass of 103.7 kDa, and is a member of the Protein kinase protein superfamily. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasmic vesicles and golgi. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally phosphorylated. The SCYL2 gene has been associated with the disease, Arthrogryposis multiplex congenita. Other alias names for this target include SCY1-like 2, SCY1-like, kinase-like 2, coated vesicle-associated kinase of 104 kDa, and SCY1-like protein 2.
The detection range for different SCYL2 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 20 ng/L and as high as 4500 ng/L. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
