ITK ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein IL2 inducible T cell kinase, which is encoded by the ITK gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a tyrosine kinase that plays an essential role in regulation of the adaptive immune response. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 620 residues, a mass of 71.8 kDa, and is a member of the Tyr protein kinase protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally ubiquitinated and phosphorylated. The ITK gene has been associated with the disease, Lymphoproliferative syndrome.
