MAT2A ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein methionine adenosyltransferase 2A, which is encoded by the MAT2A gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to catalyze the formation of S-adenosylmethionine from methionine and ATP. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 395 residues, a mass of 43.7 kDa, and is a member of the AdoMet synthase protein family. It is notably expressed in kidney. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include MATII, SAMS2, S-adenosylmethionine synthase isoform type-2, MAT 2, MAT-II, and MATA2.
There are MAT2A ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.15 ng/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
