DKC1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein dyskerin pseudouridine synthase 1, which is encoded by the DKC1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known catalytic subunit of H/ACA small nucleolar ribonucleoprotein (H/ACA snoRNP) complex, which catalyzes pseudouridylation of rRNA. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 514 residues, a mass of 57.7 kDa, and is a member of the Pseudouridine synthase TruB protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The DKC1 gene has been associated with the disease, Dyskeratosis congenita. Other alias names for this target include DKC, DKCX, NAP57, NOLA4, XAP101, H/ACA ribonucleoprotein complex subunit DKC1, CBF5 homolog, and CBF5.
The detection range for different DKC1 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
