Anti-MLCK1 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The MLCK1 antigen is another term for the human protein myosin light chain kinase, encoded by the MYLK gene. The protein is known to function in the transport of ions and the regulation of cell migration, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 1914 residues and a mass of 210.7 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm and it is expressed in the skin, rectum, kidney, endometrium, and breast. The MLCK1 protein is a member of the CAMK Ser/Thr protein kinase protein family. Other alias names for MLCK1 include AAT7, KRP, and MLCK.
