Anti-EIF5A1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target EIF5A1 is a known alias name of the protein eukaryotic translation initiation factor 5A, encoded by the EIF5A gene in humans. This 154-amino acid residue protein is known to be a mRNA-binding protein involved in translation elongation. It is localized to the membrane, nucleus, ER, and cytoplasm of the cell and features acetylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in umbilical vein endothelial cells and several cancer cell lines. The term FABAS is another synonym for EIF5A1. Indicated applications for EIF5A1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
