Anti-CASH antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The CASH antigen is another term for the human protein CASP8 and FADD like apoptosis regulator, encoded by the CFLAR gene. The protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway and the cellular response to hypoxia, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 480 residues and a mass of 55.3 kilodaltons. and it is widely expressed across many tissue types. The CASH protein is a member of the Peptidase C14A protein family. Other alias names for CASH include CASP8AP1 and CLARP. A number of CASH antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
