Anti-HCC1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target HCC1 is a known alias name of the protein RNA binding motif protein 39, encoded by the RBM39 gene in humans. This 530-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a RNA-binding protein that acts as a pre-mRNA splicing factor. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell and features ubiquitinated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is widely expressed across many tissue types.
