Anti-PPM1M antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein protein phosphatase, Mg2+/Mn2+ dependent 1M. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 459 amino acid residues and a mass of 51.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 5 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the PP2C protein family, PPM1M is known to be involved with protein dephosphorylation.
