Anti-GIT2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein GIT ArfGAP 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 759 amino acid residues and a mass of 84.5 kDa. Alternative splicing is reported to yield 11 different isoforms for this protein. GIT2 is a GTPase-activating protein for ADP ribosylation factor family members, including ARF1. Synonyms for this target antigen include CAT2, PKL, ARF GTPase-activating protein GIT2, ARF GAP GIT2, G protein-coupled receptor kinase interacting ArfGAP 2, and CAT-2.
