Anti-C6orf62 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein chromosome 6 open reading frame 62. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 229 amino acid residues and a mass of 27.1 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. Synonyms for this target antigen include HBV X-transactivated gene 12 protein, HBV X-transactivated protein 12, HBV XAg-transactivated protein 12, and uncharacterized protein C6orf62. C6orf62 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some C6orf62 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Immunohistochemistry is a widely used application for these antibodies. Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
