Anti-Psoriasin antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Psoriasin antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the S100A7 gene, which encodes S100 calcium binding protein A7. This protein is known to function in angiogenesis and epidermis development, among other biological roles. The human version of Psoriasin has a canonical amino acid length of 101 residues and a protein mass of 11.5 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm and is secreted of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the epididymis, vagina, and cervix. Psoriasin is a member of the S-100 protein family. Western Blot is the most common application for the Psoriasin antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
