Anti-TDH5 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the TDH5 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the DUOXA2 gene, which encodes dual oxidase maturation factor 2. This protein is known to function in protein localization and protein transport, among other biological roles. The human version of TDH5 has a canonical amino acid length of 320 residues and a protein mass of 34.8 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the ER of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the appendix and colon. TDH5 is a member of the DUOXA protein family.
