Anti-TSKS1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the TSKS1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the TSKS gene, which encodes testis specific serine kinase substrate. This protein is believed to play a role in testicular physiology, most probably in the process of spermatogenesis or spermatid development. The human version of TSKS1 has a canonical amino acid length of 592 residues and a protein mass of 65.1 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in the testis.
