Anti-Prhx antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Prhx antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the HHEX gene, which encodes hematopoietically expressed homeobox. This protein is known to function in the differentiation of certain cell types, among other biological roles. The human version of Prhx has a canonical amino acid length of 270 residues and a protein mass of 30 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and notably expressed in the spleen, oral mucosa, lymph node, and bone marrow. Other names for this target antigen include HEX, HEX, and HMPH. Indicated applications for Prhx antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunofluorescence.
